"Stumbled onto this charming one of a kind hotel when my wife and I were seeking a last minute getaway. As described by so many other lucky visitors, this property is one of a kind. Located steps from the little village of Capitola and literally steps away from the ocean. I have never experienced “the beach” (ok maybe Pismo) but slowly after checking in,a vibe happens; time seems to slow down, the ocean waves breaking outside you’re balcony creates a rhythm of time that brings a calm that if you let it, envelops the entire village. We have visited Capitola many times, but never stayed in Capitola proper. Our visit was during the week, less busy I suppose than weekends. I usually don’t shop, my wife can be in a store for a while, this trip I think I visited almost every shop in the village. A wonderful experience, and I let myself be more open with everyone We encountered. This hotel is a treasure, staff is great, rooms appointed nicely, comfortable. Can’t recommend Capitol Beach Suites enough."

"Capitola Beach Suites is my favorite place to stay in Capitola hands down. Eric and Vianca are absolutely fantastic to work with and always make you feel so welcome when you arrive! I love that most of the suites come with a parking spot in the structure and it makes it so easy when you arrive to park and unload your car. Restaurants and shopping are literally just steps away which is so convenient. I've stayed in 3 of the suites and all have fantastic views. The top floor 'Penthouse', suites 9 and 10 are great to rent together if you have a family. The connecting door can be left open to create a huge 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. And you have the entire 3rd floor balcony all to yourselves! I can't wait to go back again!"
