The owners and staff are very nice, the rooms are comfortable, and it's in a great location close to the Wharf and nice restaurants. I also love the most recent renovations to the motel. We will continue to return to this wonderful place to enjoy a piece of heaven every now and then."

"“The best deal on the water in Santa Cruz area” Small, charming, old property is being modernized. Yet room rates are still half most others'. Each room has a balcony that looks down over Capitola Beach. Most rooms are studios and the old showers are very small but the renovated rooms really get it right. Out your door and 3 minutes to the esplanade ...10 minute walk to East Cliff Drive and the surfing. The wharf is 100 yards to the right. This is about the best place to hang out when visiting Santa Cruz - you never need to drive anywhere. If you are looking for an amazing deal in a clean and modest package in the very best location then this is your place."
